Hey
I originally planned to share a few more core practice tips this week, but then I had a reality check: Who would have time to read—let alone practice!—about core engagement in December?
Even the most dedicated students (and teachers) sometimes need a break.
One of the teachers I've studied with routinely schedules a month-long silent retreat at this time of year to ground herself and refocus on new beginnings.
I am not entirely on board with that extended silence (although I'm contemplating a silent retreat), but I'm most
certainly ready to slow down. I'm putting writing on pause to enjoy what this season of cozy darkness has to offer: comfy couch naps, cook-offs with the family, and time to read, study, and reflect—and learn to watercolour!
All group classes are over for Christmas break,
but private appointments will continue until December 19th. Please get in touch if you need a tune-up or a pain-relief session. If you are planning to start a class in the new year, now is an
excellent time to get a movement health assessment.
As we approach the end of the year, I want to thank you for your support and participation in the Satori wellness community this year. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas season. I hope you get a fantastic break and
much-needed time to rest. See you in January.
Warmly,
