UN - zipping side body tightness

Published: Wed, 07/19/17

Hey ,

Does it feel like one side of your body (leg, side of the rib cage, or shoulder) is tighter / shorter than the other?

Today concludes July yoga classes. This month we used Kidney and Bladder meridians to help us focus on balancing the front to the back of the body, and explore the element of water.

Come August, and  we will be taking a look at Liver and Gall Bladder meridians, and their corresponding element of fire.

We will use these two meridians as a road map to unzipping the side - body tightness and establishing a better balance between our left and the right sides. Curiously (body is a very curious entity, isn't it?), balancing the left and right side can also lead to better stability and balance - can you use some of that?

Join us on the mat ( Pain Care classes on Tuesdays and Ball + Yin classes on Wednesdays) for better stability and balance - all summer classes are run on class-by-class basis so you don't have to register for a several week session.

Let's hope for some sunnier days, shall we?! Otherwise we might not even have any body fire to balance!

See you on the mat,

Julia & Satori Team
