rise and shine: winter yoga session starts this week!

I talked to one of my girlfriends last week - she told me the same news three times in a course of one conversation… Lives get busy => we get forgetful!


So here is a reminder that the Winter 2018 Yoga Session starts this week. 
All class registrations close on Friday, January 12.




Here's the thing...

How you think affects how you move.

And how well you move affects how well you live.

If you are holding ideas about how your body works that are not quite true, you could be limiting your practice, your self-expression, your experiences, and your life.



If you're ready to get in touch with your body from the inside out...

If you're ready for a teacher who will guide you to find your own answers...

If you're ready to give yourself more physical choices instead of relying on long-ingrained mental and physical habits...

If you are ready to mindfully challenge the edge of your ability, to nudge the pain-induced fear of movement, to discover what your mind and body are truly capable of, and to become fiercely protective of your self-care...

I grappled with that guilt-trippy idea for a while, too, until my son said this to me:

"Mom, thank you so much for taking such good care of yourself - I know I don't say this often, but I want you to know how much I appreciate you doing that."

His gratitude comes from a deep place: he has seen me when I was ill, wrecked both mentally and physically; he has seen me slowly, painstakingly rebuilding my health. He knows what it took, and what it continues to take.

Both him and I know and feel the difference in our relationship and connection....
I can't help but wish the same for you:)
