Welcome (if you are new to Satori) and welcome back (if you are a Satori regular) to Satori yoga.
It's almost September!
This is the time when Satori yoga-goers (myself included!) begin to think about going back to the usual routine, and back to the yoga mat.
Usually, despite teaching throughout the summer, I wait with anticipation for the Fall Open House and the beginning of Fall Yoga session, excited to see familiar faces and re-connect yet again with the Satori community.
Well, for me, this year - and especially this summer - turned out to be quite unlike what I had in mind. Long story short, there won't be a full FALL 2019 yoga session this year.
Scary as it is, I am putting most of the teaching and business work on hold...
This summer, as tough as it was for me physically, mentally and emotionally, presented part-demand, part-opportunity that I just can't let slip through my fingers - a chance to pause, reflect, and re-invent my own practice and also what Satori yoga means, and what it offers.
I am also putting regular blog posts on pause for now (for those of you new to Satori, a weekly blog post is as much of Satori yoga, as a regular mat class).
I am so incredibly grateful to see so many of you new yogis signing up for our free class wait list. Thank you for being open and curious about pain care and other therapeutic classes. I'll have them running again - pretty soon!
I will be back to work part time sometime middle of September, working with private clients to begin with. If you have already registered for fall session - I'll get on issuing refunds right away here!
