Please please please let me know if you are still having issues with figuring out the whole ZOOM thing - I'll get on the phone and try to walk you through the process!
2. Props
I have a 4 Core Balls (that's the basketball size purple ball) for sale.
They are 20$ each.
You can also borrow some of the studio's yoga therapy balls for the duration of this session, or you could purchase a used set for 10$.
Please e-mail me if you interested.
You can send e-transfer to julia@satoriyoga.ca and pick up your supplies this weekend at my house. I'll either leave them on the front step or in the mailbox depending on the weather.
3. Additional supplies
We'll add a small hand towel, a larger bath towel, and any type of belt (from a house coat is fine) to our supply list.
If you are in Soft - Strong flow, a broom or any type of long stick will be helpful.
4. The practice
This week's practice focused on arriving to the yoga practice and creating a warming up routine.
I've made a short video with practice reminders.
If you'd like you can practice some of the moves on your own to make them yours. See if you can create your own arriving and warming up routine - it doesn't have to be long or complicated, 3 - 5 minutes is plenty - to help your body and mind arrive into the yoga space before we begin our next class together.
I've also included a new pose - something that we will be exploring next week.
Experiment with it to see how you can make the pose fit your body:)
And finally, next week our focus will be on creating the perfect Savasana.
We will try to create a ritual that signals the body to relax and rest.
With practice, this ritual will help you rest and also fall asleep with more ease.
5. The mantra
We close all studio classes with the following words
May I be happy
May I be healthy
May I be free from fear and harm
May my heart be at peace
You can repeat these words silently or out loud at the end of your Savasana.
