I had all the best intentions of starting the regular e-letters (remember when they were called e-HUGs?) way back in early September, but life seems to have an uncanny way of dishing stuff out faster than I can digest it…
Finally, things are starting to calm down enough to sit down and string a few sentences together... And to be honest, I feel a wee bit lost and somewhat demoralized.
Usually come August and I am buzzing with all sorts creative ideas and new business projects. Well, August has come and gone, and whatever I had planned for this fall got (yet again!) kiboshed by life and bulldozed over by COVID.
Where to from here? So far, I have no clue...
Coming up with creative solutions time and time and time again on how to run the business when there's no real way to run the business is exhausting. Decision fatigue is real and I'm feeling it big time.
So maybe, , you can help me out?
Here is where we are with current classes:
Right now we are in the middle of the fall yoga session; it'll be done on November 18. Next session is a short one, November 22 to December 23.
I thought about running that session right through Xmas, but I won't. Family time, uninterrupted by technology and work obligations, is the best medicine for right now.
I'll keep Pain Care classes on-line indefinitely. This mode of delivery seems to work really well for Pain Care Yoga, and we have an awesome group of folk moving together and supporting each other. It is absolutely beautiful to watch!
I'm not 100% sure what to do with the Core Restore classes though...
Vaccination restrictions gave the in-person classes a swift kick in the pants, and now studio attendance is dropping right along with the temperatures...
So I am leaning towards running the next Core Restore session on-line and supplementing it with a 2 or 3 hour in-person Core Restore Clinic. This way we can continue with regular classes no matter what new restrictions may come, and we can also get together in-person for a closer look at "I am not sure if I am doing this right" items. What do you think?
Finally, the Pain Education.... I know I promised to have the Pain Ed course set up and running come fall, and then... I didn't. I don't have a solid timeline to give you, except to say that Pain Ed is still very much near and dear to my heart, and I will get working on this course once my brain is in a more creative mode. Hopefully, soon!
With so much love,
