" The first discovery was made by Nobel Prize winner Dr. Otto
Warburg, Director of Max Planck Institute for cell Physiology in
Berlin. He confirmed that they key precondition for the development of
cancer is a lack of oxygen at the cellular level."~ Nathaniel Altman
"The human body is designed to discharge 70% of its toxins through
breathing. Only a small percentage is discharged through sweat,
defecation and urination. If your breathing is not operating at peak
efficiency, you are not ridding yourself of toxins properly."~ Gay
Hendricks, PhD
" All chronic pain, suffering and diseases are caused by a lack of oxygen at the cell level."~ Dr. Arthur C. Guyton
" Breathing should be the first thing taught to a heart patient"~ Gay Hendricks, PhD.

Few
of us in today's stress - filled world breathe in a free, natural and
harmonious way. Our mostly fast, constricted breathing undermines our
physical, emotional and spiritual health and, if left unchecked, can
lead to asthma, sinusitis and bronchitis, ulcers, high blood pressure,
depression and anxiety, panic attacks, irritability, pms, headaches and
chronic fatigue among other things.
Breathing exercises are
becoming a dime a dozen these days - different types of pranayama, or
yogic breath control techniques, are taught in every yoga class.
Unfortunately, many of us undertake breathing exercises and practices
that are inappropriate, even dangerous, for us. Breathing exercises come
in many different varieties, all of them with different strengths and
weaknesses, and some with possible " side effects." Even when we simply
try to become aware of our breath, we do so in a way that only further
undermines our breathing. This happens when people equate awareness with
thought or visualization. Thinking, instead of experiencing inner
sensation tightens the diaphragm and other breathing muscles
and produces disharmonies throughout body and mind.
So what is healthy breathing?
Healthy
breathing involves the whole body. It is the capability of both our
primary and secondary breathing muscles to move in a full, free and
coordinated way that enables us to gain the maximum benefit from each
breath. Healthy breathing is the full, free harmonious movement to ensure optimal oxygenation of all our cells,
pump the disease - fighting lymph through our lymphatic system and
return venous blood to our lungs and heart, promote health of our
internal organs, and turn on stress - busting parasympathetic nervous
system.
Healthy breathing can relieve stress, increase vitality, and help you live your life more fully. Register for Organic Breath workshop today - free your breath, free your life.
