iMOVE: this fall's yoga
Dear ,

There comes a time in every yoga teacher's life when she looks down at the mat before her and asks, " Is this all there is?"
Becoming still at that edge opens the doors for new opportunities, brings fresh tones and flavors to the practice, and reinvigorates the love for yoga and passion for teaching.
For me, teaching yoga has been similar to writing (maybe that's why I find a great pleasure in both). When creating a class, I think about themes, both philosophical and anatomical; intelligent sequences that gradually warm up the body, and allow us open and stretch in fresh and unexpected ways; alignment principles at play, and, of course, cultivating present moment awareness. Rich, multifaceted class structure has become a trademark of Satori.
Yet, there's always more...
Are you ready to expand your yoga vocabulary - shift gears, find new perspectives, learn new words and new sequences? This fall join Satori for 11 weeks of progressive yoga practice and find out how great you CAN feel!
Check out this fall's class line-up. I am excited to bring more depth, continuity and structure to all yoga programs. With beginner and intermediate classes being offered in both hatha and therapeutic format, Satori will meet you exactly where you are, and then lovingly and patiently guide you toward a stronger, healthier, more vibrant self.
This fall's practice is all about building, immersing, experiencing, and transforming  - words that propel your body and your story forward.

WEEKEND WITHIN RETREAT in Jasper

Weekend Within: Perfect Heath - Ayurvedic Immersion
October 19 - 21, Overlander Mountain Lodge,
Jasper National Park

For many of us every single emotion and activity is tied to food. We eat when we are happy. We eat when we are frustrated or sad. We eat when we are celebrating. We eat in the movies, in front of the TV, when we are playing cards, sitting on the patio or spending time with friends. Sedentary lifestyle and poor eating habits wreck havoc in our bodies and contribute to the multitude of chronic illnesses - anything from heart disease to cancer.
The transition months of September and October are at the junction of the heat of summer and the cold of winter. This is the perfect time to reset your body and mind, and a great opportunity to let go of bad habits and embrace healthier ones. A time for a do-over offered by the cycle of nature herself.
Perhaps you are asking yourself:" Could I be away from my family and my responsibilities for this long? Can I actually afford this?"
The wealth of information given over this weekend is, quite easily, three months' worth of material. You will have all these incredible resources and Ayurvedic tools at your fingertips to improve the health of your family going forward. And now, with our awesome companion rate , here is another great excuse to spend a weekend in the Rockies with your sweetheart or best friend.
The real question is, Can you afford not to go?
