Pain jars our memory and ability to logically process things.
It disrupts our sleep, drains
our energy and resources.
Pain is isolating and alienating; it alters even the most intimate of our relationships.
Pain is all encompassing, incredibly complex, and so very exhausting.
Can pain be turned down? Can it be lessened?
Cured?
