N.S.Reset. - you asked, I answered.

Hey ,

Last week I've sent a Mindfulness Immersion Weekend registration invitation, and talked a little bit about this new program I'm designing - Nervous System Reset.

Well, the questions kept on coming, and most of them looked like this:

Nervous System Reset? Want to know more!

Here is the gist:

From studying Pain Care Yoga I already knew how chronic pain changes nervous system.
Since I’ve started practicing Pain Care Yoga my daily pain has mostly cleared - almost miraculously so. But clearly, living with chronic pain for several decades has left an imprint on my nervous system so it isn’t as resilient as it could be – that's why my sleep is crappy!

I am designing a program - NS Reset -  that is deeply holistic at its heart; a program that integrates nutritional approach with the latest from psychology, neuroscience, movement physiology and yes, of course, mindfulness.

Through Pain Care Yoga I know that chronic stress changes our physiology and biochemistry, thus influencing the nervous system - usually in a negative way by overly sensitizing it. Our very first step ( module actually - NS reset is a modular program) is to re-frame how we handle stress - hence Mindfulness Immersion, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program.

Hope this makes sense and answers some of your questions:)

Introduction to Mindful Self-Compassion
Sunday, October 2, 9 - 1
Full Weekend Registration Only

Embrace Mindful Self-Compassion as the foundation for emotional healing.
Mindful self-compassion means holding difficult emotions—fear, anger, sadness, shame and self-doubt—as well as ourselves - in loving awareness.

Often those of us who need mindfulness the most are the ones who feel we have the least time to practice it. That’s why we also included a Sunday bonus session, “Building Better Habits With Ease,” to ensure that you have a practical skill set to integrate mindfulness and self-compassion practices into your daily life.
